PANAMA

The NGABE (pronounced "no-bay") are an indigenous people in Panama. YWAM Boquete has been serving the NGABE for years. Just recently, one of the NABE's young men attended a Discipleship Training School in Panama. He's the first member of his family to have a passport. as He'll be a missionary to El Salvador. During YWAM Orlando's DTS Outreach, the team served the NGABE community: We led a VBS for the indigenous community at the NGABE tribe reservation. We danced to worship, taught a sermon on how vast God's love is for each and every one of the kids, created crafts, and played games! This day was so special because we got to love on all these beautiful and beloved little ones! Capturing this moment doesn't show all the love and joy that was expressed this day. The ministry in PANAMA was often times labor work! We tore/built houses, dug wells, built a chicken house( it holds 200 chickens!!), painted at a coffee farm, scrubbed boats, & many more! We got to build relationships with kids that lived in the village right next to us! This consist of bible studies with the parents, played muddy volleyball & soccer, paid them to do laundry so they could feed thier families, braiding hair, playing red light green light, and dancing in the rain on an open field!

BRUNSWICK/SAVANNAH, GEORGIA:

We were only in GA for 3 days! Here is a recap.

While in Georgia, we did our typical Launch Event which consist of participating in group games with students, a twenty minute message on living a fruitful life( what would your lasting impact on earth be) and then a couple of us would share our testimony. Usually we will start with worship & i had the awesome opportunity to grow in helping lead in worship! We partnered up with a small group that consist of young adults + got to train them on evangelism & to activate that we went out in downtown Savannah, GA to share the gospel.

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY:

This was one of our busiest weeks on outreach! We had Launch events back to back: We spoke at Portland Christian School! We led worship for their chapel time as well as our message on calling them into missions! All the events we do are about the same: We were able to pray for students and over the staff! The next day we spoke at New Life Youth group! and Led an alter call/ worship session with the youth! we got to participate in the group activity and just really loving on the youth! We did evangelism on the Kent State University campus! This day I got to have a heart to heart conversation with a student who was a believer but needed a better community & encouragement to continue to have faith in the Lord! We had the awesome opportunity to have a home event at an adult small group & it was so encouraging to have them pour into our generation and vise versa

HUBER-HEIGHTS/AURORA, OHIO:

WE WERE ONLY IN HUBER HEIGHTS FOR 2 DAYS! HERE IS A RECAP OF HUBER HEIGHTS & AURORA OHIO:

This week we poured a lot into the youth! At Destiny Church Youth group, this was the first time i had shared my testimony! At Silver Creek Church, their high school & middle school youth group are on two separate days! We had the opportunity to attend both and lead/speak to both age groups! We participated in group games which consisted of sleeping bag wrestling (i personally participated and if you need any game ideas this is a great one!) & GAGA ball. This is also where we went on a college campus & did a LETS TACO BOUT IT TUESDAY evangelism. This is where we handed out tacos & talked about the Lord & here what their thoughts on God were! This stirred some many conversations! A few of us went into Cleveland, to prayer walk/ Intercede in the city of Cleveland!

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN:

One of my favorite weeks!

This was such a hard/fruitful week! We partnered with an after school program that works with kids who have an abusive/ poverty filled environment. This was a week really pouring love onto these kiddos. This was another day i got to share my testimony & relate to some of the girls at this event. I got to create a good relationship with one of them & really help encourage her in her journey. The next couple of days we spent at two different adult groups both being a time of participation i small groups & praying over students as well as creating relationships.On our last day, we had the chance as students to lead a BRAVE LOVE EVENT! Which is specifically for calling women to go after God’s heart for them. And what it looks like for them to love others & themselves courageously. We went to a community college and evangelized!

NEWHAVEN, CONNECTICUT:

WE WERE ONLY IN CONNECTICUT FOR A FEW DAYS!

We spoke to both their middle & high school youth group! We led worship with the high schoolers & this week was the most engaged students we have had. We had many students interested in missions & for prayer! i got to speak to one student & really got to encourage and pray for her. We played so many games of GAGA ball with this youth group:) such a sweet sweet time.

SHIPPENSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA + CLEMMONS/GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA:

SHORT BUT SWEET/ LAST WEEK OF OUTREACH

We spoke with another young adults/ college students! Another night of me sharing my testimony. This night i also got to talk to one of the students & she was really encouraged by my story. She related to a lot of what i spoke about through my testimony. We had dinner/ games with these students and got to have quality time with them! In Clemmons, NC: we Led worship & did our message & this was yet another youth group that was very engaged and on fire for missions! we got to hop into small groups and share our testimonies in each small group. They were very curious on how ministry could look like in their schools. We also got to lead a bible study at a coffee shop the next day with them:)
